David Archuleta vs Taylor Lautners

Well basically I really wanted to show how guys can have virtue but also not flaunt it. there are a lot of Mormon boys from my branch that think they are all cool because they are part of the church and all of that! so in some ways I wanted to show that they didn’t have to brag about their “amazingness” of being virtuous. So while I was thinking about it, I suddenly thought of David Archuleta and the fact that he was virtuous in going on his mission right in the middle of his singing career. I mean, I think a majority of the people would agree that it took a lot of guts (and praying of course) for him to make that decision. So then I was left with the question of how to portray what I wanted. I started trying to look up you know…just guys in general that would seem appealing…and then when I stumbled upon Taylor Lautners picture I immediately knew what I could do.
So that’s basically it! I made the picture and sent it to you guys!

I agree, just ’cause guys are virtuous and a member of the church, doesn’t in any way mean that they should drop all humility. I don’t think anyone who brags about being virtuous is very cool at all; not trying to say I’m cool or anything, I just don’t like it when others flaunt it (we’re all in the same boat here and almost all members of the church are virtuous). The next time one of the guys there brags about being virtuous, just remind them that not only were we warned to be virtuous, but we were also warned about being prideful. Maybe someday they will be as humble as they are virtuous.
