When I think of a virtuous man…
When I think of a virtuous man I think of a man who will accept God’s workings in his life, even though he might go from one extreme to the other. In the photo I took I thought it was important that he was wearing a suit because it represents so many different things. The person in the picture is a missionary, a priesthood holder, a bishop, a stake president, the Prophet, all men of virtue. I wanted him to be faceless for this very reason so that all men could relate to him.
The CTR ring signifies the choices that we make in our lives to become that virtuous person. When we are small children in primary we are taught about making right choices every day. Even at a young age boys are faced with many different choices to make. Temptations that are very different from the ones girls have to face. I thought it was significant that his hand was clenched in a fist because it shows strength, a pose that super heroes often stand in when they have overcome evil.
